PLTW Impact Profile

Project Lead the Way is the cornerstone for Washington High School's College & Career Academy.

Classes that are grounded in real-world problem solving provide the opportunity for students to engage, collaborate, and communicate with an authentic audience.

As one of the smallest schools in Indiana and the nation to offer multiple years of all three Project Lead The Way disciplines, Washington High School was selected to receive nationwide recognition as a "Small School - Large Impact" Profile school.

On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Dr. Vince Bertram, PLTW President and CEO, presented this honor to students, staff, and members of the community. Attendees had the opportunity to tour our PLTW classrooms where students displayed some the exciting projects they have participated in such as robotics, a collaboration project with NSWC Crane, and the Christmas Light Show.

Message from Dr. Katie Jenner, Indiana Secretary of Education, to Washington High School.
